Law of Attraction- How to apply it to your life?

Some time ago, I published on Instagram a phrase of Buddha that says: “What you think, you will be. What you feel, you will attract. What you imagine, you will create.”

After that, many people wrote to me asking if I really believed in the manifestation or Law of Attraction, and since so many people asked, I decided to give them a broader answer here, which might also help those who don’t know anything about it.

In a simple way, we could say that the Law of Attraction establishes that we have the power to influence the events and circumstances of our life.

I personally feel that this is the reason why an ordinary girl like me has been able to travel while multiplying her income to a level that most people do not even dream of.

All this in less than 2 years, something that, seen from the Latin American logic, seems almost impossible to achieve.

If you don’t believe in the law of attraction and manifestation of desire, perhaps you also think that no one has control over their destiny, that everything is written down and that we are simply at the mercy of what happens around us.

Personally, with all that I have achieved today and because of what I have done to reach those goals, I could never think that we do not have the capacity to change our lives, and to fulfill our dreams.

WHAT IS THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

The Law of Attraction is based (in part) on the idea that the Universe consists of vibrations (high/low – positive/negative), which are attracted by similar vibrations.

To simplify it a bit more, this Law is a metaphysical (rather than physical) philosophy that says your power of thought affects your outer world in ways that go far beyond the physical realm.

In other words, the Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on one type of thought (whether positive or negative), a person attracts both positive and negative experiences or things into his or her life.

HOW TO APPLY THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN MY LIFE

As I have repeated ad nauseam and on countless occasions, there is much work to be done if you really want to achieve the life of your dreams.

Probably some others who talk about the Law of Attraction will say it’s almost magical, but I’m convinced that earning $2 million a year and being able to buy a mansion on the shores of a beach paradise is not something you can achieve by daydreaming and not lifting a finger to reach it.

Personally, I divide my process of manifestation in several steps that I want to share with you:

STEP 1 – DEFINE

The first thing (as in almost everything in life), is to define what you really want.

When I say “really”, it’s because with all the propaganda we are bombarded with daily by the media and the people around us, we can lose track of what that means.

Has it ever happened to you that you wanted something for a long time and, when you finally got it, you didn’t enjoy that incredible and enormous satisfaction that you thought you were going to feel?

That happens because sometimes we think that the experiences or material things that others have will also bring us happiness, saying to ourselves: “If they are happy being millionaires, I will probably be happy too when I buy that huge house, get that longed-for promotion or move to that amazing city.

EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS

To avoid this, you must first determine how you want to feel. Then, make a list of the things, people, and experiences that currently make you feel that way.

An example of my own was my desire to feel free to plan my day as I wanted to, without having to spend 8 hours in an office, plus 2 hours in traffic and having to wear heels to work. In short, what I really wanted was to be in control of my time and my life.

In my case, that meant (yes or yes) that I had to work for me. Once I figured that out, I could start building my life plan, figuring out what kind of business and career path I could create to achieve it.

If you want, for example, to live near the sea, you should probably start looking for properties on the beach and find out their price, and then think about the steps to follow to be able to acquire it and get on with it.

You will also need to look for a job in the area, or options that allow you to work from home or earn money online while traveling.

You just need to find out how you want your life to feel every day, and then find out what kind of people, experiences and things, will allow you to feel that way.

STEP 2 – PLAN

Although many teachers and followers of the Law of Attraction say that by planning we limit the action of the Universe, to me, a goal without a plan is just a wish.

And how can you tell if you have read my story, I am in favor of wishing and acting, all together, and not separately.

Now that you know how you want to feel and what people, things and experiences will help you to achieve it, the next thing is to define what you have to do to get closer to that final result.

It’s really possible to make $200,000.00 a year from home, but you won’t make it if you don’t offer the world something in return.

There’s no point in knowing what you want and wanting it badly if you don’t do anything else (except get frustrated).

You can daydream and complain about your reality for the rest of your days, or you can make a plan and work on it to get to live the way you want.

I completely agree that we must ask the Universe for what we want, meditate on it and keep it present every day. But that’s only half the job.

DETERMINES THE STEPS TO REACH THAT GOAL

And if you have to create points 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 before you go to 2, then so be it.

Your only mission in this life is to live it. So why not do it the best way and be really happy?

Again, make a list: How much money do you need to earn? What career do you like and will it help you earn that amount of money? Where do you want to live? What kind of people do you want to surround yourself with?

Answer all the big questions about your dream life and then work backwards, finding out what smaller things you need to accomplish first.

It is very important that you always keep in mind that the path to your ideal life will not be easy, and that unforeseen events can happen that impact your plan. Therefore, keep your expectations accurate and that is why the next step is so important.

STEP 3 – FOCUS

Let’s focus, people! They say that discipline beats motivation and this is 100% true.

There will be many days when you don’t want to work because you feel bad, sick or sad.

When you feel this way, it’s good to take some time for yourself, but not to abandon your plan.

In everyone’s life, there will be moments that move the whole floor, but if you really want something, you can’t let that stop you. As far as we know, there is only one life and we have to give everything we have, to do the best we can with it.

If moving to that beach house is part of your plan, stay focused on your goal and the steps you need to take to achieve it.

Plan your budget, reduce expenses, save for the move, find out if you can rent or sell your current home if you have it, calculate how much you could pay per month on a mortgage and look for options in the area, etc. Just focus on ONE thing at a time.

STEP 4 – MEDITATE

Staying focused is difficult, as the day-to-day tends to distract us with its ups and downs and a thousand other turns, especially with the hectic life we lead these days. That’s why it’s so important to meditate, but calmly…..that I’m not going to send you to sit on a carpet with your legs crossed, while you listen to chants in a language you don’t understand.

To help you stay focused and more receptive to the signs of the Universe, you must always keep your goals in mind. The more you think about them, the more you will want them, the more you will attract them, and the more you will work for them.

That’s why it’s suggested that you start your daily routine with those goals in mind, before your day gets confused with other people’s opinions and negativity through the news, social networks…etcetera, etcetera.

Meditation can take many forms, and you should only look for a moment alone when you can concentrate. If cooking relaxes you, meditate while you prepare breakfast (just be careful with hot things).

You can also take a few extra minutes in a comfortable chair, while you drink your morning coffee. Or if you like to exercise, do it early and use that time to focus on your goals.

What’s more, if you don’t really have time for any of the above, you can meditate in the shower, which you’re sure to have at least that much time for yourself.

STEP 5 – ACT INTENTIONALLY

The role of action in the process of attraction can become a great source of anxiety and confusion for those who are just beginning to study it.

Personally, I feel that there is a tendency to take the teachings of the Law of Attraction very literally, and since we usually hear things like “it is our energy that creates, not actions”, some may misinterpret this by assuming that we don’t have to do anything, literally.

As much as I would like to tell you that just by wishing for it, you will attract what you want, this is not so. You must take action intentionally.

Think about it, because this is not about magic.

You can’t make your blog popular if you don’t have a single post, and you can’t make money from home just by wishing for it.

Now, it’s not about acting for the sake of acting, but about doing it with the intention of achieving what we have decided to manifest, leaving aside preconceived expectations of exactly how it should be.

Most of us humans live by acting automatically (including myself, 4 years ago). We get up, get ready to go to work and continue our day without really thinking about each of our actions.

But if you act intentionally, you will recognize the kind of actions you need to take because they will inspire you and scare you a little bit at the same time, and that’s because you won’t always feel comfortable at first, because it involves doing something you’ve never done before and that may push you out of your comfort zone.

Your mind may have some objections, but you will know that it is something good and that it will make you proud once you have completed it.

FOR YOUR SUCCESS TO BE INEVITABLE, CHANGE YOUR ENVIRONMENT
You must apply this to absolutely everything in life.

If you want to make more money or start a profitable business, you must stay away from lazy people and join with entrepreneurs, enterprisers, or people who are looking to be entrepreneurs.

I know that there will be situations that are a little more difficult to change, because many do not realize that they are the ones who consciously make the decision to stay in a toxic environment, and because of that they stagnate.

Simply changing your mind can help you a great deal. Instead of complaining all day long that you can’t get out of where you are and that your life will never change, think that there is always a way out and start looking for it.

Changing your beliefs is the first step to changing your life and I am an example of this, since at first I did not think that everything I have achieved would be possible. If I were to talk to my self today from 5 years ago, she would probably put some distance between herself and that dangerous person who was trying to “scammear” her.

But because I later changed my mind and made one of the best decisions of my life, I didn’t even pay attention to those who came up to me to tell me that I had gone crazy when I started my first travel blog (The Hand Bag).

OPEN YOUR MIND AND ALLOW THE UNIVERSE AND YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS TO FIND THE SOLUTIONS TO YOUR PROBLEMS

You’re just as stuck as you think you are. Take an in-depth look at your environment (things, people, situations, work, etc.) and see what is preventing you from achieving your goals.

Maybe some friends or family members are holding you back with their negative beliefs and opinions, or maybe your house is always messy and that doesn’t allow you to concentrate. It may also be that the work you’re currently doing is draining you too much, to the point where you feel like you have no energy for anything else.

It is imperative that you be honest with this assessment and then begin to make the necessary changes in your environment. I assure you that if you do, you will experience a great difference in your life.

The Law of Attraction only works when you go beyond visualizing and daydreaming. You must put your mind and HANDS to the task, simultaneously.

TOOLS THAT WILL HELP YOU PROPERLY APPLY THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

VISION BOARD

This is a board/poster (digital or physical) with images representing each of the things you want to achieve. You can cut out pictures from magazines, google them or draw and paint them. Do something fun and pleasing to the eye, use color tones you like and images that are eye-catching to you.

The most important thing is that you put it in a place where you can see it every day. Stick it on the ceiling of your room or use it as a wallpaper, whatever is most accessible to you. The idea is to be able to look at your board every day and have it evoke feelings in you.

Emotions are powerful tools in the Law of Attraction: the more often you can feel and visualize the things you want to get, the better.

ROUTE MAP

A “road map” is basically what the name implies. Imagine a game map, one of those where you have to pass different levels before you reach the goal. You can’t win the amount of money you want, until you decide on a race that you like and allows you.

Take the time to write or think about the changes (from minor to major) you need to make in your life to help you reach your final goal, and then make the map in the style you like best.

DAILY

Nothing will help you focus and record a goal better than writing about it every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to sleep. Just as writing notes helps us to review a subject, writing a journal will help you to record in your mind all your goals.

In addition to this, many experts say that if you write before going to sleep about the complications that occurred during the day, while you sleep your subconscious will work on finding ways to solve those problems, to achieve your goals.

And I tell you that it is also very cool to read your diary after a while, and see how much you have advanced.
